Welcome to Springwell Village Community Venue
Here at SVCV you will find fantastic facilities catering for young and old alike. We hold numerous weekly group activities from toddlers to over 60's groups. We have a fully licensed bar, kitchen, lounge and a main hall, all refurbished and ready to serve the local community and surrounding areas.
The Association has progressed steadily over the years, many changes taking place.
An S.I.B. grant of £15,000 was awarded in March 2009 which has enabled the committee to carry out much needed refurbishments, including the transformation of the old playroom into a modern training room / meeting room which is available for community use, groups, training and is also available for hire. April 2010 sees the launch of the Electronic Village Hall - the much awaited computer suite is open to everyone on Monday & Thursday mornings between 9 am -12.00 noon. There are ten desktop computers complete with office software and wireless internet connection.
A Lottery Grant of £30,000 was received over ten years ago to supply stage lighting, sound equipment, radio microphones and backdrops. An Annual Pantomime has been in existence for over 40 years. Drama and Dance groups have developed for adults and children and many stage productions are staged throughout each year.
Many activities have been introduced to keep ‘up to date’ with the needs of the Community.
